This rating is about the AAOS version of the app. Using it in my Polestar 2 streaming can be started but not stopped. Pressing the Play/Pause button results in a bussy signal overlying the Play/Pause and that's it. An other audio app can be started but just overlying the ARD audiostream.... Only possiblity to get rid of it is resetting the System

What is the reason to change this app from good to worst. Even if I allow the download to occur on both WiFi and mobile data, nothing happened. You rendered this app useless for offline content. In the main interface my subscription are not visible but marginalised in a corner.

The app was working nicely until the Jan 2025 Android update. After that, functionality has deteriorated significantly, particularly the podcast queueing (Wartenschlange), which is absolutely terrible now. Also, no ability to skip forward/back in the media output while phone is in lock mode, which you could do before. I'm having to look towards other apps for german podcasts, as this app is just unusable now.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We regret you're having several problems with the current App version. The new player allows continuous listening of multi-part content, what exactly isn't working for you here? We are also expanding the new player with old and new features over time – media controls in lock screen will be coming back soon.

Mit diesem Update wird das Hören im Auto noch komfortabler: Eine neue Präsentation für unsere Livestreams und eine verbesserte Auswahl der Podcast- und Episoden erleichtern die Navigation. Außerdem haben wir den Play-Button oben auf den Seiten unserer Podcasts und Episoden überarbeitet - weiterhören ist hier nun sofort erkennbar. Außerdem wurden Fehler bei Sortierung, Suche und Anzeige von neuen Inhalten behoben.
